Guide: Get yourself founder status

This has been discussed on teamspeak so I just wanted to make a post to let everyone know.

Geminosus was informed by one of our members that if you enter a CD key into your account you can turn your account into a founders account.

The cheapest place online I have found to purchase a CD key is here.

(Avoid the option with the Blue Roan Mount for now, I bought it but didn't receive the mount yet)

Perks of having a founders account include:

  • Terminus Mount which is permanent and you may redeem it from the item claim and train it on all characters on your founder account.
  • 30 Simultaneous Brokerage Postings
  • 288 bank Slots
  • 8 characters per server

Some of these perks are a lot better than what you get even if you subscribe to Elite Status, and these last forever.

To enter the code simply login to your account on the Tera website and go to 'Account Settings' and click on 'Enter Code' on the top right.

Also, if you enter the code backwards, I.e. entering 12345 as 54321 you will get a bonus. This includes a huntress character mount (worth 10k gold) 2 emeralds (worth 1k gold each) and 2 endgame weapon scrolls. In my opinion this is the best $20 you could spend on the game.

I really wish you could edit your own posts... I need to remove the kinguin link from my original post, that is indeed for the EU version of the game which is hosted by a different provider (gameforge) and does not have access to the server we're on.

Hey now, no need to get nasty. :) You can only edit your own posts for up to 4 hours.


 


If you have codes that will be permanent, we can convert posts to articles which can be revisioned and edited by many people. I'll do that for this first post, and make sure you have article editor status, Hanii.


 


Update: Hanii has article editor status. Just click thru the link in the first post and edit the article as you need.

I played for about a month just to try out Tera.  When I decided it was a good game I ordered a hard copy on Amazon just for the code and then went Elite when the price recently dropped to $9.99.  The gaming perks are better for sure... so much for Free-to-Play. :unsure:

It is free-to-play, its just pay-to-make-the-game-less-annoying... convenience items. I miss my village atlas, I need elite!
