555th Death Angels Mobile Infantry Division - "Go Places, Do Things, and Kill Stuff!"

The Death Angels Division (aka, "The 555", "Triple Nickel" or, "DA") is the infantry division of GotR, made up of ground-pounding troopers that thrive in close-quarters, in-your-face combat. Using the Galaxy dropship, the Valkyrie, and the Sunderer for transportation, we arrive in force and wreak havoc on our enemies. We secure enemy bases by capturing points then setting up interior defenses and outside "proxy" defenses against enemy re-secures. The members move as a team using a variety of weapons and class load-outs. There are no weapon or certification requirements, but highly encouraged are Heavy Assault, Light Assault and Combat Medic. Everyone, regardless of class, should have or work towards a fully certed and set up Sunderer AMS loadout and a fully certed squad beacon. Consider picking up the Lasher and the Lancer for your Heavy Assault as they scale well with numbers - and we have numbers.

Required Certs (have or work towards)

• A solid "deployed" loadout for your Sunderer. Deployment shield is highly recommended.
• Fully certed squad beacon.
• A night vision sight for your weapon(s) of choice.
  

The 555th Death Angels splits into separate "Angels" of about two squads each for better coordination. To be clear, each member of the Death Angels is a soldier in the division first, whose duties include carrying a rifle and wasting the enemy. There are no specific classes that we require of individual members; we leave that up to each trooper to decide for themselves. However, squad compositions will be properly maintained to assure we have everything we need. Occasionally, the leadership will call class changes for certain rapid tactics such as Light Assaulting over a wall to take the objective(s) by surprise or going all Heavy Assault in order to kill nearby enemy AMSes. In short, a day at the office usually consists of facing down 2:1 odds or greater and watching their forces melt under our organized assaults. Nevertheless, the most important duty as a rifleman in the 555th... Killing All The Things!
