Welcome to Daemon Legion

 

We are Legion.

 

Mission:
Daemon Legion is GotR's special forces division. Utilizing superior teamwork, in both large and small teams, they assist GotR by providing intelligence, sabotage, area denial, tactical strike and secure operations, behind the lines harassment, and responding to other units' requests for help. DL is not just the outfit's fearsome warriors, they are the Sovereignty's.

 

Often outnumbered while on mission, their halls are decorated with the trophies of countless encounters spanning over a decade of warfare, and lined with the Sovereignty's highest honors.

 

What it means to be a Legionnaire:
It means... to be a team mate first, an outfit mate second, and a killwhore last. Legionnaires are highly adaptable skilled players capable of serving the Legion in any role/squad necessary for the survival and success of the mission.

 

Required Certs :
- Maxed out beacon.
- Maxed out grenade bandolier for HA with AV grenade
- Maxed out Medic (except triage)
- Heavily if not maxed out Heavy Assault with lancer, a dump fire launcher and a lock on one (your choice)
- A Heavily certed magrider, scythe and lightning
- Must have a decent Galaxy loadout (ask Silverthorn or Edeep if you're wondering)
- LA with 2xC4
- Infiltrator with at least lvl 4 Recon Darts, maxed grenade bandolier and EMP
- Engineer with tank mines

 

Requirements (PEST) :
- BR 30 (minimum)
- Must be 18 or older
- Must have a high knowledge of the game

 

The Daemon Legion Platoon
Legionnaires are able to select their desired primary role, but it is expected that all Legionnaires are able to be flexible when called upon.

 

PEST (Phantom Elite Strike Team) is the bulk of the Daemon Legion. PEST operatives have a high level of individual skill but an even higher level of teamplay. PEST responds to enemy attacks on VS territory, provides a second front to draw enemy troops away from the outfit's main objective, and sometimes directly supports the main objective when needed.

 

SHADES is the Daemon Legion's recon element. Members of SHADES are expected to be adept at playing the Infiltrator class, though all classes are used frequently. SHADES routinely make use of the Flash and the Scythe kitted out with radar, stealth, the Wraith module, or whatever other gear is necessary to give the main force the information it needs to fight effectively in the field. SHADES aren't just eyes and ears, however - if there's an opening in the enemy's lines, SHADES exploits it and acts on the intel that they gather, not only alerting the rest of the outfit to a threat, but dealing with part or all of it on their own.

 

Membership in PEST is limited to two active squads (~24)
Membership in SHADES is limited to one active squad (~6)

 

Recruitment / Tryouts:
Held every Tuesday at 8pm EST (Tentative)

 

Once you've applied/requested a transfer, you'll be added to the trial list : Trial is at least 2 weeks (2 TNR) you must attend 2 consecutive TNR and try to attend at least one other event per week. You'll be evaluated by your peers on your skills, attitude and knowledge. After your trial period the officers will make a choice based on the unit's recommendation. Welcome!

 

Division Transfer Standard Operating Proceedure:
1. You must attend at least one tryout or be recommended for transfer by another GotR flag officer (TO or above).
2. You must obtain permission from your current Division CO.
3. PM the three involved officers to request transfer: Your CO, Nihil, and Thango.

 

All members are required to participate at least once a month in an official Thursday raid. If you can not do this, you will be put on the Inactive Roster. If you are gone longer than 3 months, your name will be removed from Daemon Legion rosters (except Hall of Fame).

Hello! I tagged along for last nights practice with Alonicks squad and had a great time. I really loved the thoughtfulness of targets, precision drops, and squad agility.


 


I'm actually in WW though, our practice was cancelled and I had always wanted to tag along with DL. I think when I joined I said "Hi I'm new" and forgot to follow up with "New to DL, I've never really ran anything with GOTR outside of WW"


 


I'd love to tag along more in the future, schedules/authorizations permitting.

can you add Tumbzilla as a trial. I tried to join a few months ago but life got in the way. I ran with you guys for ops night last week, but I'm not entirely sure if I followed proper protocol there.

Hey everyone! I haven't been around for a while, working full time and going to college. I am still getting used to all the changes in the game that happened over the last year.


 


Would I have to re trial for PEST or do you guys still have room :D? I wouldn't mind rolling with DA for a while just to get a feel for the game again.
