  • This article documents our "Server Smash Crash Course" or "SmashCourse" that we use to teach players how to best participate and contribute during a Server Smash match. Also included is a list of players that have completed the course. You must have completed the course (or have played in a previous match) in order to participate in Server Smash.

Quick checklist, will expand later:

 

(1) Basic squad composition and "primary roles"

 

(2) Advanced squad composition and "flexible roles" [NEW]

 

(3) Squad spawning and the 600m (soon to be 1km) limit

 

(4) Speed in general

 

(5) Communication - Call out important actions such as pulling a Galaxy or Sunderer, rezzing a squadmate, switching roles, etc.

 

(6) Specialty actions: Havoc, Slingshot, Honeypot

 

(7) Chain of command: Especially important during ServerSmash

 

(8) Tenacity - Hunker down and hold on for dear life
