Planetside 2 Weekly Ops Schedule

You can also pull up the calendar at any time by going to the Planetside tab at the top of the site and clicking "Calendar".

This is only the "big event" for each day - there are mixed casual, tactical, and "drunk/late night" ops throughout the week.

Also remember that players can lead Tactical Operations (abbreviated as "Tac Ops") anytime and are encouraged to do so. Members may also feel free to join in the Casual Play channel if they want a much more laid-back and shooting-the-breeze atmosphere.

GOTR WEEKLY OPERATIONS SCHEDULE

MECHANIZED MONDAY - 8:00pm Eastern

The FEAR officers lead tactical vehicle operations on Mondays. Come on out and join the fun with your choice of combat vehicle.

TACTICAL TUESDAY - 8:00pm Eastern

At the appointed time, anyone who is interested jumps up into the Tactical Chat (sometimes Drinking Room) channels and we run some organized operations. Tactical Tuesdays have a focus in quick infantry movement, but vehicles are often used to bolster the infantry squads. The Daemon Legion units may split into their own channel while running with the main force.

WEDNESDAY - Chill Ops; Training

Wednesdays are current set aside for more casual or instructional operations. Training, when scheduled, is usually on Wednesdays. Other infrequent events like an NC or TR night may also occur on Wednesdays. These will be announced ahead of time.

THURSDAY NIGHT RAID - 7:30pm Eastern

Form up for the THURSDAY NIGHT RAID, aka "TNR". This is GOTR's outfit night, where we get a few platoons of members online simultaneously and wreck anything we're thrown at. You're in your divisional channels, under tactical chat, with some of the best coordination and organization any outfit in Planetside 2 has to offer. Get online as soon as you can, we roll out at 8:00pm EST! Remember, this is part of why you joined us. If you're online, we expect you to be playing with us!

FRIDAY - Chill Ops

We do a lot of organized operations here in GOTR, and we like to give members a bit of "time off" to cool down after the insanity that is Thursday Night. Other than some Casual and Tactical Ops, we don't have any thing "planned" on most Fridays. This is a chill day. When we do joint ops with other outfits, we usually plan them on Friday.

SATURDAY - Chill Ops; Community Events

Like Fridays, we generally keep the schedule clear on Saturdays. However, many community events like Server Smash are done on Saturdays throughout the year, and GOTR fields a squad or two during many of them. These will be announced ahead of time.

SUNDAY FUN RAID - 8:00pm Eastern

The SFR is a time-honored GOTR tradition that dates back almost to GOTR's inception. We vote on a theme throughout the week and on Sunday the winning theme is picked. The "themes" for these raids could be something like "Operation Honeypot" where we load buses with HA users and bait enemy tanks. Or we all pull Lightnings and wreck the enemy. Maybe we all pull vehicles with the intention of roadkilling the enemy. This is fun at its finest - we can ignore the needs of the empire for an hour or two and have some joke-cracking, rip-roaring, good old fashioned fun.
