Nihil's Rick James Night Guide
1) Send SHADES First - Let the cloakers find and clear CE, hack open the doors and look for entry points. CE will stop a Max crash cold.
2) Be Prepared to Switch Targets - Once you hit the enemy with a crash or two, they will place CE and whip out the AV weapons. Change continents when they are too ready.
3) Keep the Herd Together - Resist the urge to send one squad to the spawns and other to the CC and another to the tower. Move the herd like a swarm of locusts. Descend upon the target, kill everyone, destroy everything, move on, lather, rinse, repeat. Chances are the that the target will be secure by the time the stragglers arrive. When the target is secure, call the next and the stragglers can head for that while the support troops repair and rez those who were first.
4) Keep Moving - Momentum is key. Don't linger. Crash, reform, crash.
5) Offense ONLY - Keep moving. That means don't defend. Stay on offense constantly. Keep the enemy on their heels. Don't give them time to place CE. Resecures count as offense because you are attacking the enemy's position in your base.
6) Bring Support - Max crashes need support because they are largely crippled. Bring engineers, medics and hackers. A closed door has infinite armor.
7) Repair BEFORE Reviving - A max with no armor is pointless. Repair maxes before you rez them.
8) Maxes Should Carry Glue and Med Juice - You're likely to die before you run out of ammo. So but that huge inventory space to work carrying support gear. A BANK, or a Med App and/or some juice. Throw in some 'nades while you're at it, especially jammers.
9) Talk to the Zerg - Let them know where we're headed. Don't ask them for approval or permission. Say "the purple gorillas are headed for Zal and could use support troops", and then go. If they request our help we can consider it, but it's our fun raid. If their target looks like fun, great. If not, screw 'em.
10) Line on the Left Side - Your weapon is on the right, when you're in a line, put your left shoulder to the wall so your weapon has more room to maneuver w/o shooting the guy in front of you.
11) Have a Mix - Don't have the whole crew in the same suit. Have some AA maxes to fend off the Liberators. Some AV maxes will help against the tanks.
12) Move from Building to Building - Maxes are vulnerable outdoors. Get to the next building quickly.
13) Use the HART - It's raining Maxes! How scary would it be to see 30+ Maxes raining down around you? With a 4 minute timer, the HART is a pretty good way to move a herd. It's not right for every movement, just keep it in mind. It's also a good way to come from an unexpected direction
14) TAC CHAT! - For frack's sake, we're gonna have tons of people in that channel.
15) Take and Post Screenshots and Videos - We want to document the damage.
16) Get in the Spirit - Watch some Rick James videos and the Dave Chapelle sketches.
17) It's a Fun Raid! - We should try to win, but it's not the main objective. The point of the RJN is to have a blast spamming "Cocaine is a helluva drug" and make the enemy shit their britches.
