- ANT RACE - We set up some waypoints and line up. 3 points for first, 2 for second, 1 for third. We keep running races till someone gets 10 points. This is the chance for us to find out who the REAL drivers are among our ranks. There will be a variety of different style coarses as well, so be prepared for change.
- ARMORED ADVANCE - Usually we use tanks to escort soldiers; well today, it shall be the infantry escorting the tanks! Teams consists of a magrider and a few softies with jammers and other weapons escorting the tank across the battlefield to victory.
- ATV ASSAULT - Ever wonder what 30+ soldiers with Rexo and their own transports would look like? Swarming a BFR, over-running defenses, bypassing turrets, having the enemy go WTF! Did I mention the Rexo part? Switchblades welcome as well for you CC owners out there.
- BUMPER CARS - Let's just see how much abuse those little ATVs can take, shall we? We set up waypoints to box in a given area. Once the first round starts, it's everyone for themselves using the little buggers themselves to ram one another. Next round includes the weapons as well. Each round will be 15+ minutes long where during the first 15 you can keep pulling replacement ATVs, but on my mark, it will be a last vehicle standing to call the winners.
- COLONEL BOGEY MARCH - We are the Zerg, resistance is futile! In true Zerg fashion, each squad HART drops on a designated drop zone surrounding a contested base (enemy still maintains control of the walls). The squads then 'march' into the base clearing out any hostile forces in their way. Anything with legs may participate, so infantry, MAX, and BFR's. AMS's and Router's may also be used for support. Should the first drop fail, proceed to pulling AMS and Router support. Never give up until the base is taken. In true Zerg fashion, of course.
- D & D/DEMOLITION AND DESTRUCTION - Draining an entire continent takes skill and steel. Tonight, we feast on the NTU of our enemy. Deploying in teams, we move out to every base on an enemy-controlled continent and drain as many as we can to zero. Consult experts and/or the Base Drain Handbook before beginning.
- DELIVERER NIGHT / CONVOY NIGHT - Mobility + speed + numbers = an armor column of Deliverers. We pull as many standard Deliverers and Aurora variants as possible, with drivers and gunners only. Let's see the enemy respond to 10+ of our vehicles rolling over a nearby hill, guns blazing.
- DEMOLITION DERBY - They're big, they're bad and everyone loves them...... the Magrider! Think BUMPER CARS on steroids. We take these big beasts out to a given area and have at it. Round one will be drivers only follwed by round two with gunners. Each round will be 15 minutes long. During the 15 minutes, you can keep pullings new vehicles, but at the end of it, each round switched to a Last Man Standing event. Once the whole thing is over, we roll our death wagons to the front lines and help out our Vanu bretheren some.
- DON'T TAP OUT! - Everyone certs Advanced Medic, don't you DARE think about clicking the respawn button. THe idea here is that we take a static target with no spawn points, possibly a neutral base (like a Ghost Last Stand) or a CC that isn't ours, and hold it as long as possible. AMSes? We don't need no sinkin' AMSes.
- DUELLO - I challenge you to a duel... pistols, high noon. Be there or you're a yellow bellied coward. Bring your favorite pistols for a series of duels old west style. You'll begin each round with your pistol holstered, then draw and fire as soon as you've got the guts. This is an individual event.
- EWOK'S REVENGE - We load up in Phantasms and/or Gals and go hunting for BFRs all night. With a few Thumper/Jammer loadouts, some AV, and a few MAXs for good measure, we'll roll them over everytime. We'll get reports from other outfits on BFR locations and head out to ease their pains, forever reminding us that even the tiny Ewoks were able to topple the mighty AT-STs.
- GAL DROP RAID - 3-4 full gals and an AMS/Lodestar combo. After the initial drop, the gals cycle back to the AMS to load people up and get repairs from the Lodestar. This is the GotR version of a blitzkrieg, where we just overwhelm the enemy with numbers and speed.
- GEN HACK-N-HOLD - We pick an enemy base either on a locked continent, or deep behind enemy lines. We go in full force and take their generator out. Then we sit and wait for the zerg resecure. This is one of those events where GotR shines with their tactics. This is where they learn of our ability to switch from "irresistable force" to "immovable object".
- GHETTO GAL DROPS - 6 Loadstars dropping 6 Bang Buses (fully manned) into the enemy Court Yard just tearing them up. Rules are otherwise just like a Gal Drop Raid.
- HIDE-N-SEEK - We head off to a small continent or battle island to be broken into two groups. Each group will have equal turns hunting the others down. We will try bases and possibly larger areas to hide in. Neither side will be in the same platoon, so you WILL have to go looking for each other, and cloakers WILL be allowed. Once the round starts though, the hiders CAN NOT MOVE. After each side gets three turns as hunters in, we tally up and see which teem successfully hide the longest.
- HUNTING THE PURPLE WUMPUS- What happens when GOTR doesnt wear purple armor? That's right, it's Anti-VS night! We all go NC or TR for the night and crush our usual allies. Anything that is Purple, from the hours of 7:30-10pm EST, will be targeted and destroyed.
- INFIL ASSAULT - People ussually don't worry much when they flick darklight on and see 1-2 cloakers. I wonder what they would think of seeing 20-30 cloakers, weapons aimed and ready? Let's find out, shall we? Remember though, the sensor shield implant is almost a MUST when an infil, as well as melee booster implant if you plan on knifing.
- KNIFE NIGHT - We divide the forces into even teams and bound to their respective AMSes. We all move in and arange in a circle together to await the begining. At the fire of my pulsar, its a battle for the last person standing. After five rounds, the winning team is declared and they prepare for one last round to determine the over-all winner that night. Any armor or implant combination is welcome, except the medical aplicator. This night won't require any re-certing to keep things fair.
- LIB BOMBARDMENT - Good ol' death from above, with maybe a few reavers/skeeters as escorts. We shall pick a target ahead of the zerg and leave nothing intact, paving the way for their conquest. Let's make our enemies run in fear, as we hear them scream "The sky is falling!!!".
- LIGHTNING STORM - Lightnings, the one-man-army's vehicle of choice. Except there will be more than one of us. A LOT more than one of us. Think ATV night on steroids. No tech requirement, easy cert cost, simple controls......... What more could a person ask for?
- LODESTAR DERBY - We designate an area in sanc with some waypoints. Everyone lines up, and when the buzzer goes, it's everyone for themselves. No new lodies till each round is over. We have 2 rounds of derby, then it's time for the kamikaze run of 20+ Lodestars pileing into an enemy base.
- LONG WAY TO THE TOP - Who feels like killing me? Well here's your chance. We pick a friendly-locked continent so we're not disturbed. We head to the capitol, with everyone but me staying inside the the capitol's sheild. I'll be on the very top of the nearby tower. When I say "GO", the first person to get to the tower and kill me WITH A KNIFE gets a point. Feel free to "remove" fellow members while trying to get to me. Remember, platooned members recieve no grief. This is a 10-20 round event determined by the number of people who show.
- MAGRIDER MADNESS / MAGFEST - They're big, mobil, manueverable and thanks to our Vanu lords, they fire in a straight line. The Magrider is a main stay of the VS arsenal, and this is where we help to prove it. We start the night off pairing up and setting up wispers. We spen the rest of the night dispatching fear and panic in our enemies. This event calls for ONLY Magriders with the exception of Lodestars to keep us repaired and stocked up on the battlefield.
- NIGHT OF A THOUSAND BITES - For the snipers out there. We get a few well placed AMSs up around our targeted base. Everyone with a Bolt Driver, access to the HSR or a Lancer sets up on the hillsides and begins our reign of terror. With luck and determination, we'll be able to keep the enemy inside WITHOUT any armor elements involved.
- OPERATION FRAGGLE FREEDOM - A play on THE ABYSS. This time we go down with alt charaters with the word "Fraggle" in their name's. Any type of cert set-up is welcome, but remember that our MAXs WTFOMGBBQPWN in the caves. There will be an ALT OUTFIT created for this event, so be prepared before hand to get the needed invite so we are all on the same /o chat.
- OPERATION HONEYPOT - Squads mount into Leviathan transports with handheld AV and AA weapons. We try to attract enemy armor that think we're an easy kill, then non-gunners bail from the bus and dispatch the would-be attackers.
- OPERATION STEEL RAIN - From the epic cut-scene in the Warhammer 40k Dawn of War RTS game. The enemy is at our door! We know our duty and we will do it. Most of our brothers are stationed in SPESS, prepared to Deep Strike (via HART Drop Pods). The Codex Astartes has codenamed this maneuver "Steel Rain" - we will descend upon the enemy, we will overwhelm them, we will leave none alive! If we die this day we die in glory, but we shall not die, it is the enemy that will taste death and defeat. WE ARE THE SPACE MARINES - WE ARE THE EMPEROR'S FURY!
- OVER THE RAINBOW - Ever seen coordinated Flail bombardment? We get as many Flails as possible set up in a given area(spread out to minimize OS target) with proper AA coverage and then proceed to blow the enemy back to the stone age. This takes a little longer to set up and requires some people be certed properly to achieve the desired results.
- RELAX, REFILL AND REPAIR - A NON combat option! We just sit back and take it easy for a night. We lode up some ANTs and Lodestars to fill all of our bases and repair everything we come across, taking towers on the way. Once our secured continents are taken care of, we move out to the front lines and help with those bases as well. At the end, once everything is taken care of, we'll hop into whatever battles are left going on. This is time for us to take it easy and relax the tac-chat some to get to know each other better.
- REVOLUTIONARY WAR - Ready! Aim! Fire! Grab your bolt action rifle and don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes. This event is about olde school combat. Lining up and firing in volleys. This is a team based event.
- RICK JAMES NIGHT - MAXs, MAXs everywhere, but hopefully a few support staff as well. We load up with about 85% of us with uni-MAX, the rest in a support role. MAX people have a name of RickJamesXXof100 where XX is a number. Support people, form up a character with RickJamesBischesXXof100 where XX is a number. Truely a sight to behold~ (This cannot be requested, only held by decree from the outfit leader.)
- ROCKLET RIFLE RAMPAGE - Oh noes, ROCKETZ!!! SAVE US!!!! Everyone certs for Special Assault and we attack bases using nothing but the trusty Rocklet Rifle (Thumpers are acceptable upon request). The other two empires don't like our Lasher, because let's face it, it is a little overpowered....so we'll use another weapon. And they will regret it.
- ROLLING BLACKOUT - Destroy it ALL!!! This night, we just hit a contested continent and wreck EVERYTHING we can of the enemy's. We'll pair up and head out, taking everything down at every base and turning every tower to purple that we can on the way. We leave the enemy with nothing to use against our main forces.
- ROUTER TRAP! - We go to an enemy continent and silently kill all of the tower spawn tubes (works best on oshur). Then we kill 2/3 tubes at the bases and hack the links we have. We deploy a router away from the base with CE all over it, and put the pad in the last spawn tube (one per base). Enemies respond and we kill them (that's the important part) and then when they respawn they're instantly shot into the router kill area. Lots of fun to be had. (EXPERIMENTAL)
- SCAVENGER NIGHT - We start with our basic loadouts to get things rolling. As the night goes on though, we try as much as possible to loot the enemy's corpses and use their own weapons againt them. We should be able to get a good few of us hign ranked in the Scavenger Merit as well.
- SKEET CITY - Everyone certs up the Mosquito for the night. We go out to harrass the enemy and see if they're prepared for a sky of air flying around. If this ends up being the winner, one of us will cert for Air Support for the night so that we have a lody with us as well for repairs. (Can also be held with Wasps or Reavers.)
- SUPER-DOOPER MOTORCROSS - ATV again, but with a twist. We start the night by heading off to Searhus to jump off the crater's edge and see who can land the furthest away. Later we'll end up taking our little toys out to do some hit and run tactics against the enemy.
- THE ABYSS - Caves anyone? An option for CC owners only, although most of us have it. Perfect chance for some of you prospective BFR drivers out there, plenty of ground fighting, long drawn out battles, and a way to help out the VS as a whole with cavern locks. If we lock up both caverns, then we start to run mods to our capitals and primary targets.
- THRESHER RELAY - We seperate into teams of two. At a locked continent, we set up a starting location, and head out. The object of each race will be to travel along the shoreline as close as possible until you come back to the starting point again. The race will be in five heats, and in the event of a tie, there will be a all-or-nothing race to determine the winner. Points will be awarded as follows: 3 points for first, 2 for second, 1 for third. This is a LIVE FIRE event, so be prepared for your fellow event participants trying to.... slow you down a bit. I will be following in the air to track the leader in each race.
- TIME TRIALS - For the killwhores among us, this will be a pleasure. Object of this raid would be to see who racks up the most BEP, CEP, SEP, assists, kills and deaths. At the begining of the raid, everyone who wishes to compare scores at the end will be required to take a screenshot showing their status bar and a /time response on their chat window. At the end of the raid, another screenshot to confirm your accumulated stats. Later, e-mail me the images and I'll post who ranked the best in each area.
- TOWER OF DEATH / CANDY MOUNTAIN - CE up a tower in-between the TR and NC and defend it and the surrounding 4 map squares to the death. Expand to the nearby ridgelines with Orions and light buggies/buses if things get slow.
- TWILIGHT ZONE - Join us now, and we travel to another dimension, a dimension where we use the enemy's own vehicles and weapons against them. This takes a little longer to set up, as we need to get a few members together to use alts in other empires to bring vehicles and weapons to a pre-determined warpgate. Still though, it's a blast to to see a convoy of purple vangaurds, prowlers, enforcers, and even posibly enemy BFRs roll over their respective empires. We need to plan ahead though, due to the dreaded "Empire Timer".
- VALLEY OF DEATH - We drain Zotz on Hossin and set up in the valley between it and Mulac - the only ground route between the two bases. CE, AA, Lancers, and vehicles - none shall walk the valley of death and survive!
- WACKY RACES - A variation on the simple race, checkpoints between and around two very hot enemy bases (preferably NC -and- TR) in a figure of eight. Anything ground that allows two people (no tanks!) Teams of two, driver and gunner. Feel free to defend yourself and inhibit the other racers (no Tking though, but if they happen to die from your collision....) Your vehicle goes down? steal an enemy vehicle or start running. First over the line wins. Watch out for Mutley.
- WARPGATE DENIAL - A little variation on the good ol' gen drop idea. We pick one of the other empires to supress as long as possible by dropping the gens on the bases linked to their sanc. This should in effect stop anyone from getting to their front lines on other planets or caves via broadcast warpgate. Then, BLOCKADE THE GATE! We'll have to split into two teams, so a decent attendance is a must for this event.
- ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE - We head to a locked Friendly Cont, and head to a tower, we set up an ams, and have 4 people hold out the tower, against the WALKING UNDEAD. People who are zombies can be in any armor, excluding MAXs and cloaker suits, and walk, to try and "hack the tower", their only weapons being a knife and as many medpacs as you can carry. the 4 defenders may use ANY WEAPONS, again excluding MAXs. and hold the tower for as long as possible. For a twist the 4 defenders could be bumped up to 6 and hold a base.
